  • Import taxes and duties

International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs fees, which are charged once your package reaches the country of destination, and are the buyer's or recipients' responsibility. We cannot be held responsible for buyers who are unable to pay these outstanding custom fees.

  • How long will it take to receive my order after payment?

We do our best to dispatch your product(s) to the post office in 48 hours. Afterwards, it is routine Domestic/ international posting procedure. 

  • How can I return a product?

You get 14 calendar days to return any item which is refundable according to our "Return Policy". This 14 days return period starts from the day you received your product. The shipping cost should be paid by the customers unless you received a wrong item or faulty goods. For hygiene reasons, pierced jewelries are non-refundable. Please return your item(s) to us in a reasonable time after finding the fault, and remember to get in touch before returning, we would help you to go for next steps.

  • How can I track my order?

You can track your order your account in Shik website through ‘Orders’ tab.  Additionally, we will confirm delivering your ordered product(s) to the post office by sending you the “Dispatch Confirmation e-mail”. It contains all relevant information about your product, time, date and place of delivery to the post office and your tracking number which enables you to track you order step by step through the post office website.

  • How can I cancel an order?

You get 12 hours to cancel your contract. This 12 hours starts from the time of your order, before we dispatch the products to the post office and send you the Dispatch Confirmation e-mail. If you want to cancel your order now, please contact us

  • What is Khatam?

Khatam (Persian:خاتم) is a Persian version of Marquetry, art forms made by decorating the surface of wooden items with delicate pieces of wood, bone and brass precisely cut into geometrical shapes. This delicate art took on a special significance during Safavid era (1501-1736) when Isfahan was the capital city. Backed by long lasting historical experience, this city is still regarded as the heart of handicrafts in Iran.   • What do you mean by “Tailored demand”?

We are proud to accept special demands from special customers. You can provide us with detail information about your desired Khatam product which like to be made by our producers. To get more information about how to order please click here

  • How can I pay?

We accept payments from many usual payment formats as you can see in the picture below. We also accept cheques and direct deposit. For bank information please check here

  • Can I order a product which is not available in stock?

Yes you can. All you need to do is to send us an email to customerservice@shik.uk , provide us with your contact details and your favorite product’s code, quantity and size. As soon as it becomes available in stock we will let you know.

  • Can I send a product to other person as a gift while I pay with my personal account?

Yes, you can. You can just easily tick the icon under the “Ship to a different address?” In “shipping” step in your payment process and enter your desired address. You can also mention ‘It is a gift’ in your ‘order notes’ box.

  • What if I don’t want to have the receipt or invoice in the shipping package when I order as a gift?

If you mention us ‘It is a gift’ in your ‘order notes’ box, in “shipping step’ of your order, we will remove paper invoice and receipt from your posting package and will send a copy to your email.

  • Can I edit my personal information?

Yes you can change your personal details in your account in our website. log in to My Account. you can find the icon in up right side of the header menu. 

  • How secure is my payment?

We accept your payment via Cardstream and Paypal services as well as SSL certificate all which shows that your personal details and shopping process are secure.
